The Melbourne Emergency & Critical Care Students Society (MECCSS) is fortunate to have the GSA and UMMSS as sponsors from our inception. These sponsors provide us not only with financial aid to help us provide amazing interactive activities but also help us extend our reach to students throughout the university and increase awareness for the role of emergency medicine and critical care.

Graduate Students’ Association (GSA)

The Graduate Student Association is a representative body for all graduate students at the University of Melbourne. They aim to enrich students’ experience through workshops, study spaces and events as well as funding of Graduate societies such as MESS.

University of Melbourne Medical Students’ Society (UMMSS)

UMMSS is the representative body for all students in the Doctor of Medicine program at the University of Melbourne. As well as offering events and academic support for their members, UMMSS is involved in the support and funding of various medical societies affiliated with it, including us, MESS.
